NSI and NMIO to Release SAR Training for Maritime Industry and Ports

The Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative (NSI) training strategy is a multifaceted approach designed to increase the effectiveness of state, local, and tribal law enforcement and public safety professionals and other frontline partners in identifying, reporting, evaluating, and sharing pre-incident terrorism indicators to prevent future acts of terrorism.

From NMIC to NMIO: The National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office

One of our mission partners, the National Maritime Intelligence Center, just changed their name to the National Maritime Intelligence-Integration Office and we are honored to host their new domain name at NMIO.ISE.gov. We asked them to write a blog post explaining the change and what this means for the future.

2012 started quickly out of the gate for our organization as two projects were completed in the first few weeks: our name change and migration to a new web address.
